Rules

Fossil staff reserves the right to stop destructive behaviour in the game and forum. Such behaviour includes, but is not limited to, the following offences:

1. Names

1. Offensive Name - Names that are insulting, racist, sexually related, drug-related, harassing or generally objectionable.
2. Invalid Name Format - Names that contain parts of sentences (except for guild names), badly formatted words or nonsensical combinations of letters.
3. Unsuitable Name - Names that express religious or political views or generally do not fit into Fossil medieval fantasy setting.

Punishment regarding Names violations: Banishment until player changes name.

2. Statements

1. Offensive Statement - Insulting, racist, sexually related, drug-related, harassing or generally objectionable statements.
2. Spamming - Excessively repeating identical or similar statements or using badly formatted or nonsensical text.
3. Advertising - Advertising brands, products or services of third parties, content which is not related to the game or trades for real money.
4. Disclosing Personal Data of Others - Disclosing personal data of other people.
5. Hostile towards us - Spreading false information or starting propaganda about the server which may cause a reduction of the server's population or harm the server's reputation.

Punishment regarding Statements violations: Banishment 1, 7, 30 days or deletion of the account.

3. Cheating

1. Bug Abuse - Exploiting obvious errors of the game or any other part of our services.
2. Using Unofficial Software to Play, Modifying Official Software or Pretending to Cheat - Manipulating or modifying the official game client program in any way, abusing the official game client, using additional software to play the game or pretending to cheat to mislead other players on purpose.
3. Multi-clienting - Playing on more than two accounts at the same time. It does not matter if you have multiple PCs, only 2 characters per player is allowed.

Punishment regarding Cheating violations: Deletion of the account.

4. Destructive Bahaviour

1. Blocking - Blocking areas of the game world so others players can't access them.
2. Pretending to be a gamemaster in any place or anytime.
3. Making false reports or intentionally giving wrong information to a gamemaster.
4. Low level feeding - Involving lower level characters into PVP, in a way that affects the participants.
5. Excessive player killing - Randomly killing multiple characters.

5. Legal Issues

1. Account Trading or Sharing - Offering account data to other players, accepting other players' account data or allowing other players to use your account.
2. Game Items Trading - Offering virtual items in Fossil world for real money or products of third parties.
3. Hacking - Stealing other players' account or personal data.

Punishment regarding Legal Issues violations: Deletion of the account.
